I changed it two times. It works. You just have to make sure that the username you want is available.

OMG, I bought a new computer , and typing in this new platform is so easy!

@pizzza thanks for creating the thread. I was about to create this. Please follow the below steps to claim your old username :

For those who don't have account on academy.forumias.com, please create a account on it first and then follow the below steps
1-login to quest.forumias.com----this will allot you a username randomly based on your email id and roll no on academy.forumias.com.

2-go back to academy.forumias.com, click on profile to change your username. This changes your username on both the above platform.

@root Sir ji, this platform needs to be little more mobile friendly.
Also, I am really glad that you came up with this paltform, atleast now we can identify the miscreants. Mobile no authentication was very much required. You see how Facebook, twitter are under scrutiny to regulate their content, may be in coming times with the increasing users you may also need it. So, yes this is a great job.
There are many memories of mine with the old platform. Hence will remain active there.

   Right now we do not have a policy on this. As of now, we let people change names as often as they like.But this will be restricted to, let us say 6 Months once.

   Your new name will reflect sitewide. This means, if someone tries to write something stupid then change Username, then his past comments will be tracebale.
