group for upsc 2020 .
I have given upsc prelims twice and failed to get through in any . For upsc 2020 i have made a detailed strategy and i wish to follow it religiously .
June + July + August +September : finish my optional (history) , finish GS static part that would aid me in answer writing that i plan to start from september onwards . These static sources are
- For gs 1
geography : ncert + mrunal videos notes
history part for me is covered as it is my optional .
society through current affairs .
for topics like globalisation : google
- GS 2
m.puri notes ( i have attended his classes and most of the topics are covered )
international relations through current affairs .
governance part is covered in m puri .
- GS 3
niti ayog 3 year action agenda ( seems very useful ) .
strategy for new india @75
internal security and disaster management through google and current
best practices compendium of niti ayog .
- GS 4
atul garg notes ( as i have done his coaching )
writing all previous year questions .
- for current affairs, i would do them from vision ias monthly and integrate it with
the static part .
after doing all this i plan to do rigorous answer writing through full length test of various coachings during the months october to january . Post january i would be concentrating solely on prelims as that has been the choke point for me .
if some one finds some semblance with the plan , we can help each other out through discussions , answer writing practice and help us keep on track .
doing answer writing in a group would be even more beneficial if we can do the ground work for answer writing together . That would put us on the same pedestal when we start answer writing .
a group of 2 to 3 people is what i m looking for as currently i stay at my home and m not in touch with any aspirant .
- For gs 1
count me in..lets make a telegram group.I am targeting cse 2020(1st attempt). My optional is EE. I am staying at home. Not joining any coaching (apart from online tests). It will be very helpful if we form a group specially for answer writing(peer review). We will clear cse 2020.
i am also in. i have given prelims this year but most probably will not clear. do not have any mains preparation. no coaching .self study from home. public administration as optional.
june-mid oct- optional+answer writing on secure+ncert

Im in. I have a same kind of plan with law as my optional. Also, I'm studying from my home and I've had 2 attempts without clearing prelims.
I think you r aware about my situation..two failed prelims & optional : psir, started already for upsc 2020
I think lack of support group sometimes unconsciously drift us from the path
PS: make telegram so we can do answer writing & other mains issue,be regular in our preparation
I am interested.
We can also post relevant currently affairs daily.
