-
@Aspirant123 only 1
Rank 205 got 320
He was topper of ese 2014 -
@abhinav23raj436 There are around 10 in 280-300 range as far as I know
-
@abhinav23raj436 He got around 180 in paper 1. And 140 in paper 2
-
Any idea how good is the next ias test series? Is it recommended or will practicing questions from Made easy's ESE test series will be better?
-
@Aspirant123 Yes. But scoring over 300 has become very difficult. Maybe due to strict normalisation. UPSC report shows success rate of civil enginerring lowest at 2.5%.
-
@abhinav23raj436 Success ratio is low because it is one of the lengthiest optional.If u give it more time,GS will surely get hit and vice versa is true as well.
Regarding normalisation,the problem is not much regarding scaling,the actual problem is the teachers having a tendency to give low marks in theory/Paper 2. -
Any idea which Previous Year Question Book has fewer mistakes- IES Master or Made Easy?
-
@g12345 IES Master is better for cse previous year
-
@abhinav23raj436 Thank you

How was the mains paper?
-
Someone please post the civil engineering question paper
-
@g12345 Paper 1 was lengthy. Theory portion of paper 2 was difficult. The type of questions asked in Paper 2 were different than previous year. Both papers were more similar to Engineering Services Paper than previous year Civil Services paper.
